You may be aware that the rules surrounding data protection changed in 2018 when the Data Protection Act 2018 and the ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (GDPR) came into force. This legislation describes how we can use your personal data, how we should keep it safe, and also strengthens the rights you have over your own data.

The Trust is registered as a Data Controller with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO). Academies that are members of the Trust are also named in the registration as joint Data Controllers. As such all the Data Protection Policies and documents which can be found below, relate to the Trust and its academies.
